"Pomodoro works great because it's easy and caters to distractible nature. Maybe it’s to focus on that big project for hours, but surely it can be done in 25 minutes? And then another. And then another."

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique, a time management method for university students, workers, and highly effective individuals, was crafted by Francesco Cirillo. It revolves around dividing tasks into smaller segments, punctuated by brief and prolonged pauses to boost productivity and concentration.
How to use?
How to use?
The original technique has six steps:
- Decide on the task to be done.
- Set the Pomodoro timer (typically for 25 minutes).
- Work on the task.
- End work when the timer rings and take a short break (typically 5–10 minutes).
- Go back to Step 2 and repeat until you complete four pomodori.
- After four pomodori are done, take a long break (typically 20 to 30 minutes) instead of a short break. Once the long break is finished, return to step 2.
